Description

LAST SALE OF A 1983 AUSTRALIAN PRESSING OF BLUE MONDAY WAS IN OCT 2024: $52.00 + postage.

***In to music memorabilia? Check out one of the best music investments available today, my listing of Epic Records, Monster Cable non-commercial release, The Bad Mixes, by Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones & Monster Cable. This has plenty of upside*** and some of my signed historic music memorabillia from Queen, Bowie, Towsnend, Weller and all 4 members of Pink Floyd, all with CoA's.

Ive owned this New Order's Blue Monday 12" since I bought it in 1983. Purchased from 78 Records Hay st Perth WA.

Cared for using Discwasher D4 cleaning system and Discwasher ZeroStat anti-static pistol.

The most peculiar (and precious) thing about Australian vinyl pressings, is that they are very very low volume by comparison to other markets around the Globe.

All Australian pressings are rare.

This one is a survivor.

Check images, as they form part of description.

The spine on the sleeve isnt perfect, the rest of the sleeve is nearly perfect, however it is the original from 1983.

(There is a minor surface scratch, yet its inconsequential, its not easy to find)

Discogs says:

"First edition with all die-cuts printed in silver, GAP reference. "FAC 73" on cover back.

Other Australian releases:

The 1985 reissue: cut-out sleeve, centre circle only. No GAP reference. "P.C. 040" & "FAC 73" on back of sleeve. Same runouts as the 1983 edition.

The 1988 repress: same cover as the 1985 edition but without runout text."
