Germany ℗ 1971 GERMANY EMI ELECTROLA HÖR ZU SHZE 117 STEREO DARK BLUE COVER PRINT FRONT & BACK ( NOT VIOLET ! )
VERY RARE 1st EDITION ON THIS RED LABELED PRESSING WITH "LANGSPIELPLATTE" ( = LONG PLAY ) UNDER HÖR ZU LOGO

Widely acknowledged by many audiophiles worldwide to be the ultimate stereo source for this album, this incredible sounding 1970's German pressing of 'Please, Please Me' was cut in using an 'uncompressed' tape which lacks the secondary EQ added to the UK pressing.
The result is in the best sounding version of this album available on any format and can only be found on this German pressing with 'SHZE 117 A-2/SHZE 117B-2' matrices.
Later German Apple pressings DO NOT sound the same and have inferior '04219-A2/04219-B1' matrixes.
The NEAR MINT audio copy of the above mentioned pressing dates is on the correct red & black ' Hör-Zu ' STEREO Label SHZE 117 STEREO WITH LANGSPIELPLATTE.
