VERY RARE!!!
This record is from my extensive record collection. I have been collecting recordings for over 40 years and I was very meticulous in caring for all of them.
This album is on the CAPITOL/EMI label. The record number is C 054-80293.
The album is in monuarol and is a French Import.
The record and cover are in near-mint condition. However the album cover does have a "cut-corner" designating that it is a discontinued record (see photo).
The art that is included with the album is my own. I created it shortly after Yma passed away. My wife and I were lucky enough to meet Yma a few times. The first time was in the 1980's when she made her comeback New York tour. We had the extreme pleasure of meeting with Ms Sumac after her shows and got to talk with her for about an hour. One of the topics we discussed was art, and that chat inspired my artwork "Five Octaves". Later on we met Yma again in Chicago.
This art can be signed and dated in 3 different ways. The first way would be for me to sign it on the back. A second choice would be for me to sign it on the front below the art (in the white border). The third way would be for me to sign it on the front on the actual art. When you order let me know how you want it signed and dated. If you do not specify, then the art will be signed and dated on the back.
