LP Barbara sings Barbara Philips BL.7700 B77806 L/2L matrix 1L/1v420 - 2L//1v420 Mono UK 1965.
Well known in France the beautiful, sensitive chanson singing of Barbara (born Monique Serf) was and is mostly unknown in the UK.The album sold very few copies on release making this a very rare album indeed.Even more so given the fact this copy has had one very careful owner and is in fantastic condition.A true piece of history for anyone interested in 60s music.
Vinyl - The vinyl is near to mint - Perfect label with no spindle marks or tears.It has a nice shiny surface and plays beautifully.Here and there are the slightest grazes only visible in the strongest light which don't effect play.
Cover - Very good to excellent - ever so slight ringwear at very top and bottom on front cover .As its a light cream there is slight discolaration in patchs but still is bright and laminate intact.The back cover has very slighty buckled in places but nothing major.
