ULTRA RARE LP ON AUSTRALIAN COMEDIAN BEST KNOWN FOR HIS "DAME EDNA" RENDITION!!
From Wikipedia on the artist:  "John Barry Humphries, AO, CBE (born 17 February 1934) is an Australian comedian, actor, satirist, artist, and author. He is best known for writing and playing his on-stage and television alter egos Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson. He is also a film producer and script writer, a star of London's West End musical theatre, an award-winning writer, and an accomplished landscape painter. For his delivery of dadaist and absurdist humour to millions, biographer Anne Pender described Humphries in 2010 as not only "the most significant theatrical figure of our time … [but] the most significant comedian to emerge since Charlie Chaplin".
Sandy Stone is a male character played by Barry Humphries. Described by John Betjeman as "this decent man from the suburbs", Stone is one of Humphries' more enduring characters.  This LP explores the character in more depth, apparently, as Sandy Agonistes.  
IN THE ONLY OTHER LISTING I CAN FIND ON THIS ALBUM, ON POPSIKE (for a lot more than my opening bid...), there is this quote on Barry Humphries talking about this album and Sandy Agonistes:
"Barry Humphries "This monologue was written and recorded in the basement of 2a Pembridge Gardens, Notting Hill Gate, London, in the winter of 1960. I had borrowed a tape recorder from a friend and discovered that it was possible, at the touch of a button, to superimpose one performance over another, giving an eerie translucent effect. The tape was sent back to Melbourne with several others similarly recorded, and issued by Ruth and Peter Mann on the Score label.
Sandy Agonistes was not a huge success, though I now regard it as by far the best recording I have ever made. It is, I understand, a collector's item these days. It was certainly recorded under the most rudimentary, even primitive, conditions, and one does not have to listen too carefully to hear the rumble of the big red double-deckers outside my Notting Hill basement window."
Glossy jacket with light to moderate corner and edge wear, very slight split beginning bottom edge, light ring back jacket.  Record stored in clear plastic inner sleeve, looks quite playable in the VG+ to VG++ range, I'll grade VG+.
