For auction is a near mint 3LP radio show of David Bowie recorded live July 12-13, 1983 in Montreal on his Serious Moonlight Tour. This vinyl set has been played exactly three times; once on air, once for review and once for transcription to digital. This is the only reason I'm calling this set NM. By rights it IS mint. This set was distributed to radio stations around the US for airing as the ABC Supergroups show in November 1983. The six sides include the radio test-tone, commercials and blocked run out groove on the last side typical of radio shows of the era. This Bowie concert was beautifully recorded and the LPs impeccably pressed. This show has been bootlegged often but these LPs are the source material for those bootlegs. A: Look Back in Anger, Scary Monsters, Rebel Rebel, Heroes, What in the world followed by commercials. B: Life On Mars, Sorrow, Fashion>Let's Dance, Red Sails followed by commercials C: China Girl, White Light/White Heat, Station to Station, commercials D: Cracked Actor, Ashes to Ashes, Space Oddity, band intros, Young Americans E: Cat People, Fame, Star, commercials F: Jean Genie, I Can't Explain, Modern Love What you see is what there is. There's no other packaging with the set. Some of these sets came in a box but this one did not. I will prepare a sleeve for shipping and storage.
