Description
Superb first Press copy. First UK issue. Glossy non paper labels. Inner sleeve includes lyrics and band portraits. Identifying features include a Titanic Music publishing credit and no Mainman logo on the back of the sleeve.Later issueshave a Mainman publishing credit in place of Titanic and include a Mainman logo on the rear of the sleeve.
The inner has a very small tear, about 5mm (pictured) and a few light creases. Otherwise, immaculate. The front cover of this issue is derived from the US artwork, with the RCA Victor logo and US catalogue number obscured. (It is possible to discern a rectangle over which the UK details have been placed.) Not to be confused with the second issue cover, where the catalogue number alone has been replaced. First and second cat # on cover and labels, third on inner sleeve.

Sleeve has a couple of very minor dinks to corners but is otherwise immaculate. Spine is superb.
Inner has a small tear of about 5mm (see pics) and a few light creases.
Will be posted in an extra strong double thickness card mailer with extra card protection. The record and inner will be separated from the sleeve.
Vinyl is excellent. Shiny and superb. No ringwear. The only thing that separates this from a mint copy is the presence of 2 very light hairlines on side 2. These are so faint they are impossible to photograph (I tried!) Play testing reveals a couple of very minor crackles in the intro groove but once the music kicks in the sound quality is superb. Overall, a superb, well looked after copy which is as good as I've seen in years.

If this happens, please let us know rather than leaving negative feedback. We would rather be given the opportunity to address any issues you might have with your order and put them right. All items are professionally cleaned. Damaged boxes on CDs are replaced and inner sleeves on vinyl records are also checked. Where possible we provide replacement inner sleeves, although sometimes, especially with vintage records, we also provide the original inners.
