I'm a big fan of Phil Ochs. I wonder what he'd have to say about today's social/political climate. Trump would probably have him sent to Siberia. This live album is from a show in 1970. From the liner notes on the back it was a very memorable show. Apparently there was a bomb threat, and everything that could go wrong, did. It seems that Phil had been toying with the idea of coming out in a gold lame suit and doing rock and roll. This album was never released in the US. The plan was to release it in Canada and if sales were good, it would be released in the U.S.. They weren't and it wasn't. This is a first pressing. Right now two people are offering this release for sale. However both are overseas, so you're gonna get killed on shipping costs. A minimum of $10.00. for that alone. Then you have a choice between paying $93.79 for a second pressing, or $59.63. It doesn't specify what pressing it is. Well I ain't gonna charge a minimum of $78.00. My price will be $25.00 plus S&H. I have just finishing listening to both sides. I'm glad I listened, because I would get a buyer who would have been pissed off paying $50.00 plus S&H, which is what my original posting said. There are very audible clicks during Phil's speaking parts. However there is a possibility it is supposed to be like that in that I read that the music and the vocals are mixed different. Once the music starts, it sounds great. I would tell you give it a good cleaning. I have another copy to listen to. Now if the clicks are in the same place, then it's the recording. I will check and I did. To be honest I don't know what to tell you. There are audible clicks there as well. It doesn't skip, I'm gonna leave it at $25 for the time being. If you know something I don't, let me know. Make me an offer. As long as it's not a lowball price, I'll consider it. Let's do some business.
