Notes:
IFÁ launches the "IFÁ Afrobeat + Okwei V Odili" EP, the result of a unique encounter with a Nigerian singer and songwriter Okwei V Odili. The EP features 5 songs created and arranged in partnership between a Afrobeat band from Bahia and a singer from Nigeria.
The "IFÁ Afrobeat + Okwei V Odili" EP was born the meeting between the instrumental afrobeat group IFÁ Afrobeat and a singer and songwriter Okwei V Odili, who was doing an artistic residency in Salvador. By sharing the musical instruments and the songs, a band and an artist arrived at the arrangements of the 5 tracks that are part of the EP.
A study was carried out in Studio T, with production by André T and IFÁ Afrobeat. The cover of the EP was produced by Lemi Ghariokwu, an artist from Nigeria who did as 26-disc covers of Fela Kuti, the inventor of afrobeat.
