This is an original American 33.3 RPM Monaural Long Playing Record titled "LEONARD FEATHER PRESENTS "BOP". Label / Number is Mode MOD LP 127. Leonard Feather gathers together a terrific ensemble for this tribute to Classic Be-Bop. George Wallington, Idrees Sulieman, Thad Jones, Phil Woods, Curley Russell, Denzil Best and Art Taylor all get into their best Bird-Diz Groove on the ten tracks here. Selections include "Ornithology", "Little Benny", "Salt Peanuts" (with 5 year old Charlie Parker Jr. providing the vocal), "Groovin' High", "Billie's Bounce" and "Lemon Drop". Record has a few light scuffs, a few pops and a slight warp, but plays well with fine fidelity. Labels have some spindle wear and scuffing. Cover has some wear, corner scuffs, red ink markings on the back, a sticker tear on the front and a 5" split in the spine. Condition is: Record - VG+(+) Labels - VG+(+) Cover - VG+ Very Very Cool!
