VINYL : magnificent / a nice thick piece / brilliant crisp and clear sound / no pops or skips / a few light marks only / plays through Near Mint / rated a very strong EX+.LABELS :- clean
SLEEVE : terrific / no writing, marks or splits / one light crease mark at lower left on front / no ring-wear or edge-wear and the spine is intact / the corners are excellent / presents exceptionally well.
DESCRIPTION
An awesome original 1969 UK pressing of this masterpiece album that sees the Stones close the decade out at or very near their creative peak.This is one of the early ‘boxed’ Decca labels from 1969 (Matrix no. # XZAL-9363-P-1W). The changeover from the non boxed to boxed version took place in late 1969 with Let It Bleed the last of the Stones albums to be released with a non-boxed label though boxed and non-boxed versions appeared simultaneously on the record store shelves in December that year.
Simply a classic that some die-hards will argue as their best ever.
