Description

Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong - Ella and Louis - MG V-4003 - (VG+/VG) - very glossy, light scuffs - (1956)

1956 US MONO press with "50078 MGV 𝟸̷𝟶̷𝟸̷𝟺̷𝙰̷ 4003 I  I  A12 in runout.  This seems to be an original press with the red/orange and yellow verve label based on discogs information.

Side 1 is strong VG...close to VG+ with just a few faint sleeve scuffs and hairlines.  Side 2 is solid VG...it has more light marks than side 1.

Playback is also strong VG...close to VG+ on both sides.  Light surface noise throughout but the music comes through nicely.  Some pops and cracks here and there.  No skips.

Overall decent player copy.

Sleeve is in fair condition.

This record plays with some surface noise.

Shipping discounts are available for multiple auction wins.

Record was cleaned using a spin clean washer, air dried, then put in an anti-static sleeve.

Ratings are subjective so more detailed pics can be sent per request.  This is not a perfect album but certainly good for listening if you don't mind slight surface noise during the quiet parts.  Sold as is - no returns.

Thanks for looking!
