SBB goes funky! Recordings from the same sessions that gave the world the “Jerzyk” cassette. Lots of synthesizers, Fender piano and an extraordinary feeling of the rhythm section.

At the beginning of 1977, SBB recorded a series of short, intriguing tracks in the Polish Radio studio in Opole, in which they escaped from progressive suites and found themselves perfectly in compositions drawing heavily from the world of funk, soul and fusion. Part of this material was released on the “Jerzyk” cassette, and part – years later – on CD reissues. However, these additional tracks have never appeared on a black disc – until now! Remastered from the original tapes from the Polish Radio archive in Opole, they captivate with their energy.

SBB goes funky! Nagrania z tych samych sesji, które dały światu kasetę „Jerzyk”. Dużo syntezatorów, piana Fendera i niezwykłego feelingu sekcji rytmicznej.

Na początku 1977 roku SBB nagrało w studiu Polskiego Radia w Opolu szereg krótkich, intrygujących utworów, w których uciekało od progresywnych suit i odnajdywało się doskonale w kompozycjach czerpiących pełnymi garściami ze świata funku, soulu czy fusion. Część tego materiału ukazała się na kasecie „Jerzyk”, a część – po latach – na wznowieniach CD. Nigdy jednak te dodatkowe utwory nie zaistniały na czarnym krążku – aż do teraz! Zremasterowane z oryginalnych taśm z archiwum Polskiego Radia w Opolu porywają swoją energią.
