Released in September 1979, Flirtin' With Disaster is the second studio album by the Jacksonville, Florida-based band Molly Hatchet. It is the band’s most successful and definitive work, cementing their place as the "heavyweights" of the Southern Rock scene.

The Sound

The production is crisp and punchy, driven by Danny Joe Brown’s distinctively growling, boisterous vocals and a wall of distorted guitars.
