Description

The Beatles

"Songs, Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles"

Very Rare Stereo Version

Vee Jay VJS 1092 STEREO:  Condition:    The 3/4 gatefold cover has tape, writing, but no seam splits (kind of hard since it's taped on all the seams) and is marked STEREO.  Some ring wear on front & back covers on black background.  Generic inner sleeve.  The labels have spindle marks, but no writing or tags and not much wear, and are marked STEREO (brackets label).  Disk has lots of marks and looks  like a real weak VG but PLAYS SO MUCH NICER.  It does play stereo, vocals in one speaker, music in the other.  There are no skips, and for most of the disk  there is actually little background noise.  This is just one of those old records that plays so much better than it looks.

NOTES:  The album came with no inner sleeve, so I supplied one (I didn't mean to imply that the album had a generic sleeve when I got it).  The disk is very heavily scuffed but doesn't have any deep scratches, which is why it plays better than it looks... so a visual grade of  "real weak VG" may be too liberal a grade for some people.   It's a very playable album.
