BOTH the vinyl record AND the album cover
are marked "AUDITION COPY".
CONDITION
COVER: Very nice for age. No rips or splits. Some minor wear
here and there, see photos below. The back is stamped in red,
"AUDITION COPY". This is a real nice, hard-to-find album.
Songs are listed on front cover but there are no running times.
VINYL LP: Looks to be in real nice condition. I do not see any
scratches. There may be some surface marks/rubs but I'm sure the
record will play fine! BOTH sides of vinyl are labeled "AUDITION COPY".
Vinyl does show the running times but no BMI/ASCAP.
INSIDE SLEEVE: Plain white sleeve.
Information about the LP record collection I'm selling now:
This collection of records I am selling on eBay now are all from the original
owner. These belong to the wife of Dennis Davidson who was in upper
management of the PickWick Int'l record company years ago. Dennis brought
his wife home MANY records, most of which were original DJ Copies,
Promotional LP's, First Runs, etc, so that is why you see that I am selling
SO MANY unusual "Not for Sale" copies. Most of the records in her collection
are either promotional or first run copies due to her husband having access
to these types of records as they first were released.
She took VERY good care of her record collection. Usually DJ copies
were given to radio stations and played until they were junked. But
because these Promos never made it to the radio stations they have been
played only in homes and so are in great condition, which is very unusual
to find in a Promo or DJ copy. These records have always been stored
inside and in rooms that were air conditioned and smoke-free. They were
also stored in the standing/upright position so they were not weighing each
other down. This is a VERY NICE collection, most of the records are hardly
played. I try to give the best description I can but I don't know much about
vinyl records so if you have more questions please feel free to email me
