Okay folks....this is going to be really really hard! I am going to describe this beauty as good as I can regarding its visible condition and its audible condition. This LP is 100% original as you can clearly see on the pictures but first of all a piece of the vinyl is broken so the first minute of FATHER CANNOT YELL and YOO DOO RIGHT are missing. The vinyl is probably common for that absolute rare masterpiece not in alltogether good condition. There are clicks and background noise recognizable in the quieter parts BUT STILL THE ALL OVER SOUND EXPERIENCE IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE SPOON REISSUE in my opinion and there are no skips or bumps!!!. Once you play it you get the expression at once that these musicians from Cologne where so incredibly ahead of their time considering Malcolm Mooney as linguistic space comunicator as it says on the cover springing to life from the first second the needle hits the vinyl...sorry folks this LP stunns me and i doubt that copies in better condition will appear because those ones are absolute keeper copies true lovers of this music own and they wont let those ones get out of their hands for sure! Now as I said vinyl is partly broken but still playable. I am not a purist and in my opinion clicks and background noise are rather normal on a LP that old (recorded July 25th, 1969 whew that ones celebrated its 40th birthday!!!!!) there are loads of scratches on the vinyl but no deep ones so BY LOOKING AT THE LP I WOULD GRADE IT VG!!! the cover has the absolutely normal ringwear but unfortunately the spin is torn on two places. The first one about 1cm you can see on the pictures and the other one is on top of the cover where the LP must have broken through some time ago (that one is about 1cm, too). so i would say COVER CONSIDERING THAT I HAVE SEEN COPIES WORSE THAN THAT WILL BE A GOOD VG TO VG+!!!! that makes an all in all grading of COVER: VG to VG+ and LP: VG If you have ANY questions concerning whatever feel free to ask!
