Tad (often styled as TAD) was an American grunge/metal band from Seattle, Washington led by Tad Doyle. Among the first of the many bands which came out of Seattle in the grunge era, Tad was notable for the fact that its music had noticeable Black Sabbath and Melvins influences, rather than the punk which influenced many other grunge bands. Although their commercial success was limited, their music is still highly regarded amongst grunge fans.
8-Way Santa is the third album by the Seattle grunge band Tad. It was released in February, 1991 through Sub Pop.
Tad ran into legal trouble after the man and woman featured on the album cover saw the record and sued the band. The cover was an altered photo, the original of which was found in a photo album purchased from a thrift store in Seattle.
"Jinx" and "Jack Pepsi" were the singles released from this album. Pepsi filed a lawsuit against the band for using their logo on the single "Jack Pepsi".
The song "Jinx" was featured in the movie Singles.

NM ( Near Mint): Cover / Vinyl sieht fast aus wie frisch aus dem Laden und Vinyl hat keine Macken bei der Wiedergabe VG+ (Very Good+): Ist irgendwo zwischen NM und VG angesiedelt und auch als EX (Excellent) zu bezeichnen. VG (Very Good): Cover / Vinyl weist leichte Abnutzung auf, optisch nicht mehr neuwertig. Die Scheibe ist ohne tiefe Kratzer und Knacksen abspielbar, Oberflächliche Kratzer können vorhanden sein. G ( Good): Vinyl mit starker Abnutzung, deutliches Rauschen oder Knacksen, aber keine Sprünge. Cover weist deutliche Gebrauchsspuren auf. F (Fair): Sehr schlechter Zustand, Platte kann u.U. nicht ohne Sprünge abgespielt werden und die Hülle wurde nicht sorgsam behandelt.
