This auction is for one LP by The Beatles and the title is Introducing the Beatles on Vee-Jay, VJLP 1062 and this is the version with no comma on the back cover for the listing of Please Please Me. Numbers in the dead wax on Side One are 63-3402-1 and on Side Two are 63-3403. I would say condition of both jacket and vinyl would be easily and safely good and I say that because jacket is solid and complete but there is some storage/use wear and a bit of scuffing to front cover--when viewed straight-on at a normal distance, you don't really see scuffing, but when held sideways under bright light, you see it and you see, over the photo of George, an imprint in swirly handwriting of the name Tom--not ink on cover, just the impression left by a pen as original owner was writing a note to Tom, perhaps? Again, when viewed normally, you don't see those flaws, just some marks as seen in photo and really, the cover photo is quite nice. Condition of vinyl is good, I'd say, as it is flat with a nice glossy sheen to either side, but as seen in photos, there is quite a bit of spindle wear and squiggles, so this has seen lots of turntable spins, and there are some light scuffs to vinyl--I will play both sides of this record on my turntable and update listing with a report on how it plays. This vinyl has been stored in a plain paper sleeve and I do not know if that is original or a replacement, but it is plain and has a slightly brown patina and some creases. All in all, this is a pretty cool collectible, certainly rare with that Please Please Me no comma on back of this Version Two pressing. On Jul-25-16 at 04:20:35 PDT, seller added the following information:Hi, Just a quick update on how this plays and I would say it plays well--I gave each side one spin on my turntable and there were no skips and no pops and no issues, really. And there seemed to be very little surface noise--clean between each song and such. I am not saying this is mint--there are use squiggles at spindle hole--but I'd say vinyl would rate as good or very good. A clean record on the turntable, for sure, and a lot of fun to hear--I almost wanted to invite the neighbors over for a go-go :)
