Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1968 PRESSING, with features and matrices matching the West-Coast Pressing, Unique Deep Groove Pressing Ring (2.75" Diameter).  This original press has these features:
First original U.S.stereo West-Coast Pressing - Visible skull tattoo on front cover. - Tracklisting on back mis-titles "Here She Comes Now" as "There She Comes Now" - Back cover credits Lou Reed for "Lead Guitar" rather than just "Guitar" - Andy Warhol is credited on back cover - spine reads "V6-5046 WHITE LIGHT/WHITE HEAT THE VELVET UNDERGROUND VERVE" - "Three Prong Music" publishing credit on all tracks.
Here are the matrices:
Matrix / Runout (A-side etched): V6-5046 SIDE-1 MGS-1258 Matrix / Runout (B-side etched): V6-5046 SIDE 2 MGS-1259
Jacket with light to moderate corner and edge wear, a split threatening bottom edge about 2" from opening but its not quite a split yet, no other possible splits no marks, light ring front and rear jacket.  LP stored in original Verve inner sleeve, split on bottom about 4", no other splits, LP LOOKS VERY PLAYABLE with a lot of clean vinyl, but a handful of light visible but unfeelable scratches over the two sides - one example is shown in the listing photo.  This particular scratch cut across all songs on Side A.  Marks around the spindle hole show play evidence.  As noted, these unfeelable light scratches are found amid very clean vinyl, so I'll grade VG+.
