LP Vinyl Record: Trevor McNamara "Yeah Captain". This ultra-rare highly collectable record on Nationwide label is in wonderful condition. Its value and collectability is increased by the name "L. Morphett" written on the back cover. This is Lynn Morphett, the daughter of Co-Founder of Nationwide, Graham Morphett. As to condition, the cover is in remarkable Near Mint condition. After 48 years there is no sign of edgewear, tears, or other imperfections. The vinyl would also be absolutely perfect if it were not for some closely spaced very fine scratches extending across a narrow section of Side 2. They are actually more like scuffs and can just be seen as a light coloured streak on Photo 4. They cause only the very faintest sound in between tracks and is not audible during music. This record will sell for a considerable amount but it is possibly a once in a life-time opportunity for a keen collector.
On 14-Feb-19 at 20:49:19 AEDST, seller added the following information:It has come to my attention that there may be concern about "ring-wear" on front cover. Please be advised that there is NO ring-wear. Parts of a circular outline visible on Photo 1 are caused by reflection of light by the slightly raised record-outline of the cover created by the shape of the record beneath it. The cover is very shiny and therefore difficult to photograph without reflection artefacts. The cover is in Near Mint condition and there is no ring-wear.
