This record has been cleaned and played through completely both sides on a Thorens Turntable as well as visually inspected under a bright halogen desk lamp to provide an accurate grading.
LP’s are packed outside their covers to guard against ring-wear & splits during transit and then placed inside a plastic outer protective sleeve for safe delivery.

CONDITION
VINYL : a nice thick slab of vinyl here / shiny throughout / no marks / tracks along superbly with a crystal clear sound / very difficult to fault at all / plyed a few times at most and hard to rate any less than Near Mint.LABELS : clean
SLEEVE : terrific / no writing / no marks or splits / no edge wear of note / the corners are square and the spine is intact / the inner covers are clean / some minor rubbing on the front and light ring-wear on the back / presents very nicely and would not be easy to find a better sleeve these days
DESCRIPTION
An immaculate ‘promo’ pressing of this now quite scarce and only studio album from the Matt Taylor outfit Western Flyer.Australian blues legend, Matt Taylor has been playing his brand of Australian-twinged blues music since the mid-'60s. His first band was the Chicago-blues outfit the Bay City Union … then Wild Cherries, Horse, Cam-Pact, Genesis (oz) before fronting Chain for many years who are acknowledged as the yardstick for Aussie Blues.
After their success Chain took a break and Matt Taylor moved to Western Australian in the 70’s. He played solo around Perth where he formed Western Flyer in 1977, released an album 'First Flight' to the open arms of blues fans and played to full houses across Australia.
A decidedly rare Aussie blues album these days and to stumble across a promo issue in such clean condition is a real find indeed.
