Description

RCA LSC 2298, BORODIN Symphony No.2 / RIMSKY-KORSAKOFF Capriccio Espagnole, March from “Tsar Saltan” Maguire (Violin), Jean Martinon, London Symphony, (1959) 1s/2s (I) Indianapolis pressing. This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old 1s/2s pressing.  This copy is very close to mint and plays perfectly.  The sound is very realistic with a very wide and deep stage and powerful bass.  The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy and EXCEPTIONALLY quiet with NO pops, clicks, or skips.  There is a harmless very light paper scuff on side 1 and a very tiny bubble near the end of the first track on side 2 that that makes no sound.  There are a few barely audible tics between tracks on side 2. The vinyl grading is NM.  The labels are clean with NO wear or spindle marks (see photos). The jacket has no seam splits or corner dings but a light mark on the lower right back (see photo).  It grades NM and the inner jacket is also NM.  In summary, this is a nearly perfect copy of this wonderful golden-age recording. Feel free to return for full refund if not completely satisfied. Shipping is free anywhere in the continental US.  Outside of the US, buyer pays shipping through eBay's international shipping program.
