This item has been in the hands of one owner only who worked at Good Looking at the time of the release and knew the signees personally. It is unplayed and the vinyl is in mint as new condition. The box and inner sleeves have very minor storage wear:
THE BOX.
White box is clean with no tears or other damage. Corners are in perfect condition, no crushing or scuffs etc. Promo label is on at a slight angle. Slight 'ring around the bathtub' mark all around the outside edge of the base of the box; very minor on an otherwise perfect box.
THE INNER SLEEVES.
All the sleeves are in near perfect condition. Only disc one sleeve shows any kind of wear. This is a vinyl edge mark about two inches long at bottom of sleeve and similar white spot in centre of same sleeve. All the other sleeves have bulge marks same size as ring mark on first disc but with no colour damage this is inevitable with storage/age of item etc. Only mention these for the 'sticklers' out there.

'Earth' is the first volume in what has become a successful string of releases from the one and only LTJ Bukem. The concept of the Earth series is based on that of musical awareness and experimentation, pushing the boundaries of genre through the merging of styles to create something new. It also serves as a great foundation for the up and coming producers to gain recognition of their work. As Bukem himself states on the insert; "The reason Good Looking started the Earth series was to let our artists show that they are firstly musicians. This creative environment also enables new and forthcoming artists to release their material." The name of the production series is likely to be connected to the natural, 'earthy' sound of many of the tracks present in these releases where live instrumentals are frequently used alongside vocals and other acoustic productions. This first compilation from LTJ Bukem presents everything from funky breakbeat (check Poets of Thought: The Rhyme Goes On) and ambient jungle/drum & bass (check Appaloosa: Travelling and PHD & The Funky Technicians: Above and Beyond), to jazzy acoustic (Poets of Thought: Samba with JC) and LTJ Bukems' own special brand of laid back groove present in his track 'Moodswings'. Overall the Earth series creates an enjoyable blend of musical styles that draws from all genres and displays the broadness of LTJ Bukems' musical appreciations. The instrumentals and jazzy samples present in the experimental tracks are superb and combined with the ambient drum & bass and general beats that also feature they create an album that is perfect to relax to anytime of the day. Other artists include GLO veteran Blame, Doc Scott and Subject 13 with a jazzy yet atmospheric drum & bass track. Whether a follower of Good Looking Records or not I would recommend this first volume of the Earth series for quality enjoyable listening. You can also rest safely assured that the 'man with a plan' LTJ Bukem will invest all money made through his releases back into the label he loves and the music he's so good at pioneering in order to keep pushing the boundaries and continue forging his own musical future. As Bukem also states on the insert; " This is the start of what is to come. We are future bound."
