Well, he!! has officially frozen over and I am listing my prized LTJ collection for the benefit of my growing family. Up for sale here is a set of TWO Less Than Jake shaped vinyls. These are the Birthday Cake, (in pink/white wax), and Moldy Birthday Cake,(in green/white wax), albums. Each features This is the Modern World and Son of Dick on side one, Laverne and Shirley and Last Train on side two. The original Birthday Cake, (the pink), was limited press of only 1,000. Even cooler? The Moldy Cake was limited to 500! These are some rare beauts.
Originally these records were sold on the Fall '98 tour and the '99 West Coast tour. This vinyl was released to celebrate Less Than Jake's 50th release.
I have always taken pride in my collection of vinyls and every one has been lovingly cared for and is in MINT condition. These records each come with their own dust jacket and have been listened to exactly ONCE to check for scratches. There are none.
The only issue with either of these is that the Moldy Cake has a candle that is broken as you can see in the photos. This could easily be taken care of with a dot of super glue and does not affect the playability of this album whatsoever.
Shipping is up to you. I can throw the merchandise in a padded envelope and mail it first class which would cost you all of 3.00 or I can ship it to you with the care that I would expect it shipped to me in. That will cost 8.00. Of course, if you win multiple auctions, I will combine shipping. Good luck and happy bidding!
