PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


WILDLY RARE Quadraphonic black label gatefold pressing on Billingsgate from 197? with a large pressing ring, BOTH track listings on the side 2 label and original poly-lined Billingsgate printed inner sleeve featuring legendary Krautrock labelmates Gury Guru, Neu, Epitaph, Elias, Jane and even eventual hair-metal stalwarts Scorpions when they were still doing acid.  Release year is unclear as there is not a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever.  Supremely rare.  LP side 1 is VG+ with a light scuff and side 2 is a beautiful near mint minus.  Cover is easily VG+, close to VG++, with a hint of wear at the top edge.  A very nice copy of this terrifyingly heavy rarity.  I can't remember which album scared me more upon first listen, this one or Sabbath's debut, but suffice to say you will not be disappointed if you like your rock on the heavy side.
