LUCIO DALLA
“ESTA LA COSA NEGRA, NEGRA”
(HAI UNA FACCIA NERA NERA)
RARE original RCA Victor Records very first MONO press released in Chile in 1969 by Emi/Odeon Records, made and distributed by RCA S.A. Electrónica (RCA Records Chile), catalog number AVL-3844-XX, with hand etched matrix numbers AVL-3844-A EB in Side A and AVL-3844-B EB in Side B, with orange/black RCA Victor Records labels, with white “RCA Victor” lettering. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!
“ESTA LA COSA NEGRA, NEGRA” is a compilation album of the first albums and singles by Lucio Dalla specially made for the South American market, with some versions sung in Spanish. Like so many times in that period, we got it with an UNIQUE COVER made of a single piece of a very thin cardboard folded in the middle with two sheets of paper for front and back covers attached to that cardboard (glued only in the mouth edge). Front cover has a photo of Lucio Dalla with his name, the album title written in Spanish only and subtitle in Spanish too informing “And Other Hits In Spanish And Italian”. Back cover has the album title and subtitle written in Spanish only, a picture of Lucio Dalla with a personal review of him and the tracklist written in Spanish, translated to Italian, with full credits for songwriters and backing bands of each song, and a commercial add for AVIANCA Airlines. The songs included in this RARE COMPILATION are:

So, here you have the chance to get this UNIQUE COMPILATION album by Lucio Dalla singing in Spanish and Italian, with this UNIQUE COVER and UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE!!! WOW!!!
The cover was already described and it’s in great VG+ or EX- condition, clear and clean, no writings, some bends and creases, no blemishes, only general wear in edges and corners, some age browning in back cover. The record is in strong EX or EX- condition both sides, clean, clear and glossy, with only scuffs and soft hairlines, which don’t affect play. Labels on both sides are in great NM- or NM condition, clean and clear, with only minimal spindle hole wear. The sound is in stunning EX or EX+ condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only minimal occasional crackles here and there, more evident in silent parts, hard to hear if you are not looking for them, which don’t cause any distraction from the great sound this album keeps from the beginning to the end. I’d recommend a deep vacuum cleaning anyway. Overall, a great record with still a great look, immaculate labels and superb sound quality after almost 45 years!!! A nice compilation album to hear and enjoy Lucio Dalla singing in Spanish with an UNIQUE COVER and UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE!!! Yes Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile
_________________________________________________________
We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
