Description

This is a 16 inch, black lacquer acetate coated aluminum, 33 1/3 rpm transcription disc containing 9 songs, possibly recorded for V-Disc

The date of November 22, 1943 is printed on both sides of the label

Side 1 contains the following songs by Lucky Millinder "Mason Flyer", "Apollo Jump", "Savoy" (with vocal by Trevor Bacon?, excellent trumpet by Joe Guy?), "Shipyard Social Function"

Side 2 contains 5 songs.  The first two feature vocals by The Charioters. The last 3 songs are instrumentals by John Scott Trotter & His Orchestra, who is most likely playing on the first two songs as well.  Songs include "Dig A Ditch" vocal The Charioteers, "Don't Cry Baby" vocal The Charioteers, "Pan American", "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes", "Bengosa".  These songs are possibly from a rehearsal of "The Kraft Music Hall" radio program
