Description

A golden throated carney and a great jazz singer that fronted a number of big bands in the 1940's-early 1950's and recorded with Les Brown, Lionel Hampton, Bob Crosby, Tommy Dorsey, Dave Pell and others. Embarked on a solo career in 1954, yet released only two albums under her own name. One in 1954 and this final release in 1957. Record has some surface but still sounds great, A-side VG+, B-side (VG). Cover is crisp and clean but has notable paper tear on front at the edge of opening.  If buying more than one LP, please wait for a combined shipping invoice with reduced shipping cost before paying.
