Very rare album from spanish composer Luis de Pablo from 1971. Obscure and abstract creates a dark & haunting atmosphere.

Some info on the release: Impossible to find avant garde album, really scarce micro-pressing on french Erato label (where appeared Iannis Xenakis, Jean-Claude Eloy, Ivo Malec and Oskar Sala, Guy Reibel and Francois-Bernard Mache) by maybe the most important spanish composer of the 20th century Luis de Pablo, this one being maybe his most rare vinyl release. Very hard to find. Never re-released on any medium or other pressing.

On this record appears Luis de Pablo's piece "Modulos V" (versions 1 and 2), as performed by Xavier Darasse, who appears also with "Organum I". Something like the sound experiments of Pierre Schaeffer & Pierre Henry, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Alvin Curran and Toshi Ichiyanagi, Toru Takemitsu and Giacinto Scelsi. The music is haunting, powerful and obscure and reminds at most moments old thriller movies, but a lot more abstract than you can imagine. Or you can imagine something between "Volumina" of Ligeti, Mauricio Kagel and Juan Allende-Blin. The record comes complete with a 4-page booklet, plus an insert-catalogue. Luis de Pablo is very well known for his electronic & electroacoustic works("We Nosotros", "Visto de Cerca", "Soledad Interumpida", "Comme d'Habitude" and others). Close to his copratiots Andres Lewin Richter, Horacio Vaggione, Eduardo Polonio and Tomas Marco, Gabriel Brncic and Gonzalo de Olavide. His musical education included teachings by Maurice Ohana and Darmstadt summer courses with Bruno Maderna and Pierre Boulez. His turn to aleatoric music marked him in most of his work. He has released records on labels like Wergo, Claves, Polydor, Rca and others.

Condition: Cover lies in excellent condition, nearly mint, while the vinyl lies in mint condition, seems unplayed.
