Description

Here we've got a brand new / unplayed (and in near-mint condition regarding all parts - jacket, LP's, poster, pin + sticker) copy of Wrest's (of LEVIATHAN fame) LURKER OF CHALICE 2005 debut self-titled LP, reissued in a really nice / heavy duty gatefold double LP package by USA's Nuclear War Now! Productions in 2018.  

This is the "Die Hard" edition of the album.  This version is pressed onto gold 180 gram double vinyl, includes the same standard folded 18x24" poster (which comes with all standard / diehard copies of this album), but also includes a large 5" x 5" Lurker of Chalice logo sticker, and a REALLY high quality / heavy duty pewter (silver metal) dye-cut Lurker of Chalice shaped logo pin.  (see photos!)  This pin and the sticker (along with the colored vinyl, unique to this 200 unit-only package / version of the release) are only available as part of this specific set.   I'm quite sure these are probably long sold-out from the label by now.  Very limited quantities on this version of these here.  Get it while its available!!  Last time this album was released on vinyl in 2006/2007 by Southern Lord Records, they pressed 2,000-3,000 copies on a slew of different colors of vinyl and they ALL sold out and were (within 6 months of selling out) selling on eBay for $100+, and the album wasn't repressed for 12 years.  This is one Wrest's (aka Jef Whitehead) absolute finest hours as a musician.  Love me some Leviathan and Twilight, but the Lurker of Chalice album is the crown jewel in his musical legacy / discography in my (and many others) opinion.
