LUTHER ALLISON-BAD NEWS IS COMING 1972 GORDY RECORDS WHITE LABEL PROMO DJ COPY LP G 964L DJ IN A SOLID VG(cover)-EXC. VG+ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! One of the best versions of Little Red Rooster you will ever hear in this auction. It starts off the record and my God, it is smoking, the whole album is for that matter as this is an absolute essential for the blues fan. Luther's play is amazing on such other tracks as Evil Is Going On, Rock Me Baby & the title cut. All fans of the man or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition, nice and clean, plays well throughout, not a stretch to even say a VG++. The cover is the bane of the auction as it has a small 1/2" split on the bottom edge, 1/4" mouth splits on the mouth corners, definitive rubs on the spine corners and a wisp of ring wear top and bottom front and back. The original inner sleeve has 2 splits yet still holds the record. A fantastic buy if you can get past the cover issues.
