Description
LXT 2859 Brahms: Symphony No 2 conducted by Carl Schuricht
Jacket: Overall Ex+: very clean, slight damage and split at opening corners and a little ring wear. For one of these early Decca covers, very fine.
LP: Orange/gold original. Very fine vinyl sheen with some hairlines. Orchestral tone superb, BUT a lot of surface noise more than standard for these early LXTs; one mark in the first movement gives 12 ticks, and one of the hairlines gives a long series of very soft ticks in the latter part of the movement stretching into the second.
Condition
A Near Mint LP means that there are no sounding marks; there may be one or two very light surface non-sounding marks, but the LP has had little if any discernible play, shows a high gloss, and has no repeated tics or sign of aural wear.
Any other rating will be specifically described.
A Near Mint jacket will be whole and undamaged, with no significant discolouration.
Any variation will be specifically described.
