Lyn Collins was a member of James Brown's revue for 2 years before releasing her album "Think (About It)" in 1972. James Brown produced the album, wrote 4 of the 9 tracks and added vocals throughout. The title track is a standout, with Collins' powerful vocals and the funky groove. Other tracks like "Just Won't Do Right", "Wheels of Life", and "Women's Lib" are good but the covers of "Ain't No Sunshine", "Never Gonna Give You Up", and "Fly Me to the Moon" are mediocre. The album is recommended for fans of James Brown or funk soul but others should look for the title track on a compilation.

The vinyl looks very clean, shiny and new. There are only some very small and thin marks that I can detect under a bright light. The labels are also clean and free of spindle marks.
The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such an amazing analog sound from a digital recording!
Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
