This auction is for the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack record album to the Jim Henson movie "Labyrinth" on the EMI America label, catalog number SV17200. The score is by Trevor Jones, but what's really collectible about this album is that David Bowie wrote and sings six songs on it: "Opening Titles Including Underground," "Magic Dance," "Chilly Down," "As the World Falls Down," "Within You" and "Underground." I think at least some of these songs are exclusive to this soundtrack album and have not appeared elsewhere on other David Bowie albums. (If you know otherwise, let me know!)

My standard disclaimer about vinyl: As with all vinyl records, there will be at least some pops, clicks and other surface noise, so do not expect flawlessly pristine CD sound quality. I grade on the following scale: Like New, Very Good (some flaws, nothing major), Good (more noticeable flaws, but still acceptable), Fair (looking pretty bad, but not a total disaster) and Poor (extremely bad with major defects).

SPECIFIC DETAILS:

Overall condition: Good.

Jacket: The jacket is only "Good" condition, because it shows ha lot of creases, scuffs, edgewear and corner wear.

Record: Very Good, clean and glossy, with only mild surface noise on some songs.

Labels: Like New!

Inner sleeve: Inner sleeve is printed with personnel and track info. It is only in "Good" condition, with splits on all sides and some impressions from handling.
