Description
Blue Note - BLP 4187
1964
Original mono pressing with RVG and Ear etched into the run-out groove.
Cover is VG+
Bend lower right corner. Bubble near spine on front. Worn spot on the top left corner. See photos for full details.
Vinyl is VG+ (Goldmine, where there is no such thing as EX grade)
There are two radial marks at the very start of side 1, which could have been pressing errors. The first mark makes a whoosh before the first song starts. The second mark makes a tick just as the first song starts. The rest of the record sounds utterly and completely new.
Also includes the original first-state "26 Years of Blue Note" inner liner. Later pressings would have come with a "27 Years of Blue Note" liner.
The side 1 label is doubled - meaning there are two labels stuck together. Because they didn't have a good seal against the vinyl puck they vinyl press burned the label. The discoloration is not from dirt or handling - it's in the label from the press.
This record is nearly impossible to find. It's doubly impossible to find in this condition.
I have recorded a high resolution mono FLAC file at 24-bit 96kHz sampling rate if you would like to hear the sound quality. Send me a message to request the file.
This LP will ship fully insured in a proper corner-protected LP mailer.
The International shipping charge is a catch-all. I will refund the difference to you if it actually costs less to ship to your location.
