LARRY YOUNG "OF LOVE AND PEACE" Vinyl LP Blue Note BLP 4242. MONO.
Rare early (1966) New York issue: "33 1/3 Microgroove Long Playing Blue Note Records Inc New York USA" label in Liberty Records "43 West 61st St., New York 23" sleeve.

I've owned this rarity since purchase second hand some time ago. I hadn't played it in a long while, up until now to check it for this listing. Carefully looked after, in a smoke-free home.
Disc is in very good plus overall condition. A shallow surface scratch covers most of Side 2 Track 2 but doesn't affect play i.e. no clicks or skips. Has some general crackling (that don't detract greatly from this rare listening experience, in my opinion) commensurate with a 50 year old vinyl LP.
Externally, the sleeve is very good: some age wear and a ballpoint mark (not mine) underlining "84242" on rear cover. The inner edges of the sleeve have old tape residue where a poly outer which was taped in (as was my habit back then) has been carefully removed.
I'll post in a sturdy mailer, with a Mobile Fidelity Original Master anti-static inner and a new 430 gauge outer poly sleeve. Check out my listings for other collectable jazz and jazz-rock LPs including more by Larry Young on Blue Note.
