Description
You are bidding on a mega-rare original one-sided acetate of the Laser Beats which was made at Audio Recorders in Phoenix Arizona in the mid-60's. Mid-60's rock-surf group from Arizona! No actual date on the label of these recordings, but it has the studio label with their street address along with the titles of the six songs. This is the same studio where the group cut their Rampage 45 on Laser Records. Members of this group include Paul "Skip" Ladd on guitar (later to record with California psych group Twentieth Century Zoo) and Neal Smith on drums (Alice Cooper Band!). Needless to say this is quite a rarity! We could not find any specifics about the recording date, but most likely it is from around the time of their 45 (1966) or possibly as early as 1965. The acetate is in VG condition with a few surface scuffs/light scratches but plays and sounds great! The label is in VG+ condition. There is no reserve on this item so bid away! Songs are: Wipe Out, Sugar Shack, Johnny Be Good, Love on a Windy Hill, Nobody, Go Go Barracuda.

We visually grade all our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are:
Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!
Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.
Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.
Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches. generally still a great playing copy. jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.
Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.
Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches. jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
