Description

Produced by EMI World Records, this is the vintage music collector’s dream come true: A limited edition, 14-disc numbered (No. 3841), boxed set released in 1982, signed by the producer, Chris Ellis. The British dance orchestra is the inimitable Ray Noble with his star vocalist Al Bowlly, recorded by HMV (His Master’s Voice) between 1930 and 1934. It is in unblemished, new condition. The burgundy-colored box is gaily decorated with a tassel on one side, and the lettering is in gold. The box contains 14 Long-Playing vinyl discs, each one in a different colored sleeve, a large biographical booklet, a certificate of ownership signed by the producer. The liner notes are by the legendary discographer Brian Rust, and the engineer was Peter Brown. In addition to hundreds of songs, there is an interview with Ray Noble in which he talks about Al Bowlly.
