Description
- DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin 1st self titled LP. Original UK pressing with plum/red lightly textured labels, machine stamped corrected A1/B1 matrix, fully laminated sleeve with grey/silver strip and correct white inner ("Plastic bags can be dangerous") dated 0570. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588 171: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and a few light hairlines/scuffs.. Played all of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Side One plays really well, probably EX, very clean and loud throughout. There is no crackle or other background sound, just a very occasional random soft tick. Side Two has two split second patches of distortion in the first few revolutions of the organ intro to track one. After that it plays through fine again, with just the odd tick. Music is otherwise loud and clear. Cover is in nice clean condition. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear ,light corner wear and moderate creasing. Original inner is a strong EX. Clean and white with light wear only, fully attached poly and no splits. Very clean labels- just check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Very playable, complete and original. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK/KRAUT/PSYCH/METAL LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
