DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- 1st self titled. Original UK pressing with corrected A1/B1 matrix, Superhype credits , laminated sleeve with silver strip and red/plum labels. Its in the correct type of white inner ("Plastic bags are dangerous") but im unsure if its exactly the rght match. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588 171 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (Please read on)/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and a fair few hairlines. Played all of this a few nights go on my budget deck. I picked up 3 split second skips- 1 on "Babe Im Gonna Leave You" , 1 on "You Shook Me" and I cant remember where the other was. i will try and play it all again prior to end of auction. Sits flat on the turntable. Generally sounds Very Good . Music is generally clear and loud with occasional repetetive ticks. Side one tracks 1+2 and side two track 1 have ticks. The rest particularly the rest of side 2 sounds pretty good. Cover is a decent example. it is firm and square and has not much more than light edgewear, cornerwear and light to moderate creasing. White inner is in top condition. Clean and crisp. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
