LED ZEPPELIN - Self titled album
1969
UK 1st press "orange text pressing"
Sought after plum / orange Atlantic label.
Rare silver strip to the bottom of the outer cover.
All important un corrected matrix numbers!
**SUPERHYPE** LABEL !!
Very early 1st press matrix numbers...
Side 1 = 588171 A//1
Side 2 = 588171 B//1
The vinyl has a lovely glossy sheen to the surface and sits completely flat with no warping. Has the sought after plum /orange Atlantic labels which show the INCREDIBLY RARE SUPERHYPE text!!! Has mulitple hairlines but none feelable. Spindle trails can be seen.
The original "Orange pressing" outer cover has retained good colour and shows the rare silver strip to the bottom. Has the usual crinkles to the protective film and age related dirt / wear to edges/corners/spine as to be expected. Penmanship to the back which I nearly missed.
The protective inner is good with no splits or tears, just age discolouration.
OVERALL A RARE AND SAUGHT AFTER PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR MUSICAL COLLECTION!!
