DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- 1st self titled . Original UK pressing with corrected A1/B1 matrix, Warners/ 7 Arts/Jewel Music credits, laminated sleeve with silver strip and red/maroon labels. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588 171 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (Please read on)/G+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and a lot of hairlines and some surface lines. Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. It plays through without jumps, skips or sticks. Generally sounds VG but has some ticks and clicks. As usual they are most noticable on "Babe Im Gonna Leave You". Its pretty loud towards the end of this and the first few minutes of "You Shook Me" though music remains prominent. Cover is a decent example. It is firm and square with only light edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. It has a damaged corner that has a discrete cellotape repair ( hence low grade)- see final photo. Clean labels apart from a red circle penned on side 2.. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
