Up next for auction is the 2014 reissue of the legendary Led Zeppelin 1 deluxe edition with the double LP live recording from the Olympia in Paris France on October 10 1969. Certainly every rock aficionado knows about the 1st LP from 1968 and released in January 1969. But the last 2 LPs of this set is a live recording from the early era of 1969 which essentially is a set list of this 1st LP but also includes an early live tracks of Heartbreaker and the drum solo track entitled Moby Dick from the Led Zeppelin 2 album Having already seen the band in late January of 69, I can assure anybody who didn't live in that era there was a different vibe on stage , they were having fun .Sure they were very very loud and electrifying but no nonsense up front play the British style blues I witnessed them again in 70,71 and 72 the peak Zeppelin years and every year they seemed to gotten better . Bigger longer shows 25 minute DAC, and the like, but the larger the arena's the bigger the crowds also seemed to get more and more sinister. After 72 though I had the opportunity to see them again I never did. I guess it was the fun of just playing live that fueled those early years . It shows in this early recording.
