Description
This is the ultimate in high fidelity for serious archivists. This set has been out of print for years and has been displayed in my living room unplayed since it was recieved new by me in April of 2006 after a lengthy wait for the special order. The records have never been removed from the case. This set consists of 48 single-sided 12 inch 45 RPM vinyl records housed in a special Classic Road Case.These 45 RPM sides were cut at the same time as the 33 RPM discs and as such do NOT represent a remastering that is different from the 33 RPM LPs approved by the band. Each album has an art jacket the same as the original album releases with the additional sides in white jackets.There are either four or eight sides per album depending on whether it originally was a double album or not. The original label art was also used. All of the set is pressed on Classic Record's proprietary 200 gram Super Vinyl Profile. 45 RPM can reveal nuances impossible to retrieve at 33 RPM due to the same signal being imprinted over a longer distance on the vinyl itself. This is as close to the master tapes as you can get! The albums included in the set are: Led Zeppelin 1,2,3,4, Houses Of The Holy, Physical Graffiti, Presence, In Through The Out Door, The Song Remains The Same and Coda. These sets are in extreme demand at this time.
