Description
A nice old Led Zeppelin record, found amongst others in a private record collection, during a house clearance in West London. I am by no means a record expert, but I will do my best to describe the condition of the record and sleeve. The record was found protected by a plastic sleeve and is shiny and bright, with slight wear to the edges, but with a very good spine. There is a one inch crescent shaped dent on the front cover, but that seems to be the only real blemish. The record is in really nice condition. The only blemish that I can see is a small half cm mark, which under magnification, looks like a rubbing mark, running in line with the grooves. I have tried to show a photograph of this. It really does not look as if it would make any difference to the playing of the record, but as the rest of the vinyl is in such nice condition, it stands out. The label shows the number 588171 and the matrix numbers are 588171 8 crossed out and replaced with hand scratched 8 A//1 13 and 16 also appear and on the other side 588171 B upside down triangle 411. 3. The former owner has faintly stamped his address on the label of side one and on the inner paper sleeve. Please e-mail with any questions.
