Description
A 2nd press from 1969 on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A1/B1. Warner Bro credits. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in the original 'Uptight And Outer Sight..' grey-stripe cover. Also included is the 'Plastic Bag Warning' Atlantic inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape and clearly has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks each side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with top-level clarity and minimal interference. Quiet/silent passages are just that! - Quiet! There's no background at all - it is really really quiet and clean. Yes there's a couple of isolated moments where there's a touch of static- but that really is all. I really don't think there are too many original copies knocking around in this kind of condition. Please note a name has been rubbed off on side 1 label - barely visible.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape with that all important grey stripe running along the bottom. Please note a previous owner taped the outer edges. This has certainly helped protect the outer edges, but please bear in mind there will be very light residue present [nothing unsightly]. There are a few creases and a nick on the rear, but in all other respects this very early cover has survived the years particularly well. text on the spine is intact and overall the cover retains good rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing, but no splits.
