On 14 May 1988 the Atlantic Records label held its 40th Anniversary Celebration by staging a non-stop concert lasting almost 13 hours at Madison Square Garden, New York. The event was dubbed "It's Only Rock And Roll". Only artists who had released material on the Atlantic label in the United States performed, with the artists spanning the 40 years of the company's existence. Some Atlantic signings, who had either officially split up or who had not performed together for a number of years, re-formed especially to perform at the concert. These artists included The Rascals, Vanilla Fudge, Iron Butterfly, and Led Zeppelin... The Led Zeppelin performance remains very sought after, and is presented in this limited pressing format in excellent sound quality. Note: "Heartbreaker" is NOT listed on the cover but it is on the record.

I bought this album NEW about 25 years ago. I played it once or twice back then. It has been stored upright in a plastic sleeve since then. The photos might show some dust that should clean off easily, but I can't find my record cleaner right now.

Grade (record / sleeve)

VG+ /  VG+ .... Minor surface scuffs. Vinyl has some minor bubbles. Cover has a some minor creases and corner dents.

All records visually graded. I use the following grading system, based on the Goldmine Grading System....

• Mint = New, unplayed.
• NM = Top grade for a used, excellent condition record.
• VG+ = Average grade for a really nice record, still glossy, possibly a few minor scuffs.
• VG = Some deeper scuffs or light scratches.
• G = Obvious wear.
• Fair = Will probably play OK on most turntables.
• Poor = Bad.
