Description
Led Zeppelin's first album still in shrink. This is a first pressing - cat # SD 8216. This is from the Presswell pressing plant in New Jersey. The time listed on the cover for How Many More Times is incorrect. I think this one was sold new in 1971. Nice heavy vinyl. I love the sound quality on these US pressings but this one is "crackly" - probably needs a good cleaning.
Media shipping.
On Mar-20-24 at 12:02:40 PDT, seller added the following information:I'm getting a lot of inquiries about the markings on the runout. There seems to be an obsession over Zep I lps that were mastered by George Piros. It's like Ludwig II and Pecko Duck IV! There is one tiny mark near the PR designation that I cannot make out, but I do NOT see the @GP that people are seeking. I just thought I'd add that info here for future reference. It's a great sounding mix but it is too crackly for my tastes. I think it needs a good cleaning which I cannot provide. Good luck to those interested.
