Up For Your Consideration is This Rare Valuable LED ZEPPELIN II SD 8236 Atlantic ROBERT LUDWIG *Hot Mix* "RL"SS "LW " Monarch Pressing 1969 Vinyl LP. Led Zeppelin II * US Original 1969 Atlantic Robert Ludwig RL SS SD 8236 Monarch Pressing.
Side One Matrix:  ST-A-619671- MO CC RL SS LW >13933 (1) W AT
Side Two Matrix:  ST-A-61972- MO CC LW RL SS >13933-X W AT
Deadwax on Side One is Wide and Narrow on Side Two.

Monarch Pressing is Regarded as the Best Sounding Pressing ever of LED Zeppelin II. 

The Robert Ludwig ‘RL *Hot Mix* was what Jimmy Page desired. But the President of Atlantic Records took a copy of the album home that his daughter played on a cheap kids record player & the record kept skipping through the grooves. Next morning he ordered the pressing plants to stop & mix a new toned-down version. Supposedly around 150,000 copies got out with the *Hot Mix*. But almost all of them were played to death at parties in the early 1970’s. 


 (Re-Listed This Because of New Evaluation. Graded Vinyl as Excellent). EXCELLENT (EX), LP may have a faint surface mark or two barring it from being truly Near Mint!!!!

The Glossy Vinyl is Graded Excellent.  It Retains its Factory Lacquer. The Clean Labels are in Near Mint Bright Colorful Condition and Don't have any Scuffs or Wear.

 Matte Cover & Inner Sleeve in Very Good Plus Condition. The Matte Cover Seams Are All Intact Except For a 1.0 in. Area On the Bottom. Very Strong Cover & Insert Album Cover Liner.

I have been at this on eBay for 17 plus years.  If you look at my feedback it is a perfect 100%.  Although I buy and sell my forte to this point has been Raw, PSA Graded, Bulk Trading Cards.  As this part of my collection is coming to an end, I will be turning my attention to a Boatload of Vintage Vinyl Albums I inherited.  Hundreds of Vinyl Albums just like this one.  All the Popular Bands from That era.
